No one can carry his/her cross without first denying him/herself.
Remember: It’s a personal cross, yours is unique and different from your neighbors’.
What then does it mean to deny yourself?
It simply means to put your own personal interests as secondary while you make the advancement of God’s kingdom a primary interest.
After we have made a determination to first seek the kindgom of God and His righteousness, then everything will be added to us as we carry our cross and challenges, following Jesus!
May the Lord give us the grace and wisdom to deny ourself wholeheartedly,
carry our cross with joy,
and follow Him everyday with zeal and enthusiasm,
in Jesus name
